Title: Regional Sales Representative
Reports to: Director of Sales
Location: Southeastern States (FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, SC)
Tasks & Accountabilities:
Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales and profits of a division of Earth Friendly Chemicals. Be able to sell a complete, “ever-evolving” line of green, environmentally safe products such as Allgone, NaturFresh, etc. The candidate will have extensive sales experience with a focus on new business development, and be creative in networking, lead generation, and cold calling. A key trait of the chosen candidate must be able to identify the decision maker quickly while continuing the cultivating of relationships with all levels in a timely fashion. This position requires the ability to research, gather information, identify and develop strategies to increase sales. Candidate must be skilled at questioning, probing and to act timely in all levels of the sales process. The position will then coordinate the generation of lead activities, implement sales plans for new and existing accounts to make presentations to all involved. The candidate will be expected to work closely with Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing Managers to meet customer needs and business goals. This position requires the ability to have excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Only seasoned candidates with extensive sales experience in the sanitation industry will be considered. Three plus years of active customer development required. Basic knowledge of logistics, inventory and commodity markets preferred. Existing customer relationships with accounts in the sanitation industry and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Good written and oral communication skills are essential in order to develop relationships with customers. This position requires a customer-centric team player with above-average organizational, planning and follow-up skills. Individual must be able to maintain good records of sales funnel process and will report developments to the Marketing Manager. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the region extensively to call on new and existing customers. Approximately 40% travel is required.
